These are targeted trips focused on catching Mahi, Tilefish, and Seabass. Depart the dock around 0400 A.M. Travel time from the dock to the fishing grounds usually between 2.5 to 3 hours depending on which spots we hit first. Normally we are fishing by 7:30 A.M.  Depending on the time of year we will begin the day targeting Mahi (Dolphinfish) with spinning tackle, then switch over to deep droping. We normally begin our return to the dock around 3 P.M. - arriving at dock around 5:30 P.M.  For your convenience, the boat is equipped with electric drops for connecting your electric reels to onboard boat power.

Safety/Weather Policy:

Captain reserves the right to cancel the trip due to weather conditions or other conditions which would affect the safety of the party, crew, or the boat. While every attempt is made to provide as much advance notice as possible there are times when situations arise when such notice is not possible.  In these situations the chartering party will be afforded the opportunity to book a future date or the charter deposit refunded.

COVID Screening:

Any required COVID 19 screening will be conducted on the dock on the morning of your trip using Virginia Department of Health Screening guidelines

Wreck Fishing Trip -$950.00 - Cash Discount Price - $900.00

Wreck trip up to 20 miles out in ocean. This is an 8 hour trip.

Fuel charge information.

Due to the cost of fuel we've had to incorporate a fuel charge (questions call or text).  If the pump price for diesel is over $3.50 per gallon on the day of your trip, then there is an additional charge for fuel. 

Offshore Trip - multiplier is 140, Wreck Trip - multiplier is 80.

The multiplier listed above is the approximate number of gallons of fuel the boat burns on the respective trip. You have the option of using the multiplier above or we can stop at fuel dock on return from your trip to fuel up for the exact multiplier (expect an approximate 30 to 45 minute wait at the fuel dock.)

The fuel charge works like this (pump price minus $3.50, the result multiplied by 140 (for offshore trip) or 80 (for wreck trip) - this is the additional fuel charge.) 

Example 1. Day of your trip pump price is $4.50.  $4.50 minus $3.50 - difference is $1.00 multiplied by 140 equals $140.00. 

Example 2. Day of your trip pump price is $5.00. $5.00 minus $3.50 - difference is $1.50 multiplied by 140 equals $210.00. 

Number of Passengers:

Teaser is a twin diesel 28 foot Carolina Classic. While we are licensed for 6 passengers, the boat accommodates 4 passengers, Captain and mate comfortably.  We will accommodate a 5th passenger for $300.00 additional charter fee as long as everyone understands the space limitations on 28 foot boat. 

Overnight  Trip -$2150.00 - Cash Discount  Price - $2100.00

Depart the dock around 1000 A.M. and return to dock around noon following day. Depending on where we land to begin fishing for the day the run from the dock to the fishing grounds usually between 3 to 3.5 hours.

12 Hour Chunking or Trolling -$1550.00 - Cash Discount Price - $1500.00

Depart the dock around 0400 A.M. Depending on where we land to begin fishing for the day the run from the dock to the fishing grounds can be between 2 to 3 hours.   Run time depends on where the bite is expected to be or sea conditions.  On a run to the canyons we are usually fishing by 7:30 A.M. and fish until around 3 P.M returning to the dock around 5:30 P.M.

Cancellation Policy: 

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your trip.  Your scheduled trip may be cancelled (or rescheduled) 7 days prior to the date of the trip, resulting in a refund of the deposit being issued. Trips that are cancelled less than 7 days from the scheduled trip date will result in forfeited deposit if the trip cannot be filled with another party.     

No Show Policy:

We go to considerable effort to make sure that we are prepared for you to have an enjoyable trip, if you book a trip and do not show up this takes a day away from another party. This will result in automatically forfeiting deposit paid.

Payment Policy:

Trip balance due morning of trip unless other payment arrangements are made in advance (I.E. paying night before).  Balance paid either as cash or traveler's checks.
